Altify Max Custom Settings

Altify Max custom settings enable you to configure aspects of the software's behavior.

Note: The following custom settings should only be set at the organization level. Altify does not support the enablement of these settings at the profile or user level.

To configure these settings:

  1. In Setup, go to Custom Settings.
  2. Click Manage beside Altify Max.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Specify custom settings as necessary:

    Batch Schedule

    Schedule that determines when insights are emailed and/or chatted to users. The default string (when setting is blank) is 0 0 1,9,17 * * ? *, which translates as a schedule of 1am, 9am and 5pm daily.     Batch Size An internally used value relating to nightly processing of insights.
    Chatter Days To Repeat When an insight is triggered, the software will notify the user of it through Chatter. This setting tells the system not to re-chat it for N days.
    Days To Repeat Insight in Email

    Altify Max sends regular email updates to users containing the insights currently shown. This field provides a way of avoiding a particular insight being emailed to the user too often.

    Suppose that Max includes a particular insight in its next email update. If this field contains the value 5, that insight will not be included again in an email update until another five days have elapsed. The default number of days before an email is resent is seven.

    Disable Chatter When this checkbox is selected, Altify Max does not send users insight updates on Chatter.
    'Disable ... Trigger' settings These settings are for Altify internal use, and should not be modified.
    Disable Email When this checkbox is selected, Altify Max does not send users insight updates by email.
    Email Duration Gap

    This setting specifies how often email insight updates should be sent to users. This is expressed as a number of days.

    Email To UserId This setting is for Altify's internal use.
    Email Managers This checkbox enables email notifications for users with the Altify Max Editor permission set.
    Email Users This checkbox enables email notifications for users with the Altify Max User permission set.
    Enable Localization

    This setting is deprecated.

    Enable Max Library Export/Import This setting is for Altify's internal use. It allows the export of insights as a library file.
    FLS Enabled Enables field-level security.
    Last Email The date on which email notifications were last processed.
    Namespace This setting is for Altify's internal use.
    OM Phase Late

    Opportunities with a probability equal to or above this value are defined as 'Late' by Altify Max. Max insights are sensitive to the opportunity phase (Early, Middle, or Late).

    This setting is only relevant to Opportunity Manager. For more information, see Adapting Phase to your Business Rules.

    OM Phase Mid

    Opportunities with a probability equal to or above this value (and below the OM Phase Late percentage) are defined as 'Middle' by Altify Max. Opportunities with a probability less than this value are defined as 'Early'. Max insights are sensitive to the opportunity phase (Early, Middle, or Late).

    This setting is only relevant to Opportunity Manager. For more information, see Adapting Phase to your Business Rules.

    Org Wide Email Address Id This setting is for Altify's internal use.
    Randomize Insights

    This setting is deprecated.

    RefCount This setting is for Altify's internal use.
    Use Protected Update This checkbox relates to Max signal updating. It should be left selected unless you are otherwise instructed by Altify Support.
